When we started knitting in October, I told Marla I would make her a blanket for her baby that was on the way. This was a pattern I got from the Lion Brands web site, rows of garter stitch and seed stitch. The hood is knit separately and sewn on. My first encounter with increasing stitches (or was it decreasing? I can't remember.) I also added some silly little booties from the same web site.
