Michael asked me to knit him a tie, so I found this pattern on the Lion Brands web site. It uses Magic Stripes yarn, so you don't have to switch colors. This was my first encounter with knitting in the round on double-pointed needles. It wasn't fun. Every time I'd get in a groove, it would be time to switch needles. I don't think I'll do another one.
