You thought no one noticed that day after Sunday School when you lifted David out of the baby carrier, his floppy head dangling down his chest, and carried him into the coat closet with Kristen Packer. But I watched you shake him by the shoulders and laugh at how his face wrinkled up like an old man as he started to cry. And I saw how he clung to you, his big sister, afterwards, right before Kristin paid you a dollar so she could shake the retard too.
