Day 8: painful farewell...
This is our last day! Our plane leaves Hilo at 8:15pm. We started the day with breakfast (another moco loco) at Mamo Cafe and then visited the Farmer's Market one last time. We hoped to find Brian Nussbaum to get some more teriyaki sauce, but he had already left for the day. So we bought a mango and a white pineapple and then headed over to Rainbow Falls Tattoo for my spider. (See photos!) Thanks, David. It hurts, but in a good way. Then we had our final Hawaiian ice cream cones at Hilo Homemade Ice Cream and spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing in the courtyard of the Hilo Public Library.
